The Chillicothe Police Department would like to announce that we will begin registering bicycles at the Police Department. You can receive a Bike Registration form from the Police Department or by going to our website at http://chillicothepd.org/bike-registry/ and downloading the form. Each year the Police Department receives reports of lost, stolen, and found bicycles. The Bike Registration Program will help to deter theft and aid the Police Department in returning recovered bicycles to their rightful owner. This is a free service offered by the Chillicothe Police Department.

Listed below are the steps to take to properly register your bicycle with the Chillicothe Police Department

1. Fill out the Bike Registration form.
2. An adult must be present when registering the bicycles.
3. Once the registration form has been filled out an Officer
will place a tamper resistant sticker to the frame of the
bicycle.
4. The Officer will then enter the information from the Bike
Registration form into the police database in case the
bicycle is ever reported stolen or lost.

To help kick off the Bike Registration Program the Chillicothe Police Department would like to invite everyone to come to the Police Department on Thursday, June 29th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to begin registering their bicycles and meet the Officers of the Chillicothe Police Department.
While at the Police Department you will be able to do the following:
-register your bicycle
-tour our police station
-meet k9 dark & watch a k9 demo
-check out our squad cars
-try on our k9 bite suit
-kids grab a hot dog and chips on us
