Chillicothe Citizen of the Year was was created to recognize a member of the community who makes a positive impact in Chillicothe and central Illinois.

2018 – Taylor Larson – Taylor was chosen because of her creation of Cuddles For Kids non profit in which she collects teddy bears and gives them to sick children. She also raises money for the Chillicothe St. Jude Runs , volunteers at her local church, and is a member of the Junior Optimist Club. These are just a few examples of the many community oriented events she has been apart of all while still attending Illinois Valley Central (I.V.C.) High School
