The 2014 F.O.P. Cops and Kids was a huge success!  This was our second year taking kids Christmas shopping.  This year we were able to take nine children to lunch at Lucky Dogs Pub & Eatery and then to Wal-Mart to spend $100 on whatever they would like!  We once again reached out to the Chillicothe community and they went above and beyond.  Riverside Chevrolet was out lead sponsor making this event happen!  A Huge thank you to them!.  We also received donations from the Pearce Senior Group, the Claude-Elen Benefit group and individual donations.  Lucky Dog’s provided lunch for not only the children, but for the officers as well!  (The food and service is fantastic by the way)

We reached out to the school system, churches, and from citizen suggestions.   Then we randomly drew a child to be paired up with the officer for the day.  The kids had a blast, but the officers probably had more fun.  Below are some pictures from the event.  Don’t forget to check out our facebook page too!  There are more pictures of this event and other community activities we do throughout the year.  Again thank you so much for making this event possible.
