Available to ANYONE who is 18 an under. If you are having any problems getting to one of these locations during these times, please contact me at callison@ivcschools.com. Our goal is to provide everyone 18 and under a breakfast and lunch every weekday. Please share this information with anyone who could benefit.
School Sites 7:30am-9:00am
Illinois Valley Central High School – Drive through pick-up from the north private drive in front of the main entrance.
Chillicothe Elementary Center – Drive through pick-up from the east teacher parking lot.
Satellite Sites
Pinewood Estates – 7:45am-8:15am – Pick-up from IVC #321 School Bus.
Mossville United Methodist Church – 7:45am-8:15am – Pick-up from IVC #321 School Bus.
Lake of the Woods Plaza – 8:30am-9:00am – Pick-up from IVC #321 School Bus.
Crossroads Baptist Church – 8:30am-9:00am – Pick-up from IVC #321 School Bus.
REMOTE LEARNING
When we return from spring break on Monday, March 30th, we will be meeting with our teachers to continue our work in a remote learning situation. There are obviously many challenges to providing instruction without having our students and teachers in our classrooms on a daily basis. We are going to do our very best to work WITH our parents to provide our students with learning opportunities while respecting the fact that you are not licensed educators. We are also realistic enough to know that many, many of our students will do things for their teachers that they simply aren’t willing to do for their Mom or Dad at home, at least that seems to be my experience as a parent. We are going to work with you to find that balance. We are all aware that we have never gone through a situation like this in our country. We are all figuring it out. Please be patient and know our teachers are doing their very best in a very difficult situation.
